Terms of use – EzBill

1. About these terms

EzBill is a point of sale service provided by TheFineQubit, Sri Lanka ("we", "us"). It is made up of the EzBill mobile app, the EzBill web application and this website. By creating an account or using EzBill, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use EzBill on behalf of a shop or business, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you are allowed to do so.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details.
Keep your password and your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Shop owners are responsible for the staff they add and for removing staff who should no longer have access.
Tell us at once at support@ezbill.shop if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Using EzBill

You agree not to:

use EzBill for anything unlawful, or to record false or misleading transactions;
try to reach data that is not yours, or test, break or get around our security;
overload, disrupt, copy, reverse engineer or resell the service;
upload content that is unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to use.

4. Your data

Your shop's records belong to your shop. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide EzBill, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for the data you enter, including your customers' details, and for having the right to record them.

5. Fees

Some EzBill plans or services may be paid. Any fees, and how to pay them, will be agreed with you before you are charged. Taxes may apply.

6. Your business and the law

EzBill is a tool to help you run your shop. You remain responsible for your business, your prices, your tax and accounting, and for keeping to the laws that apply to you. Check important figures before you rely on them.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep EzBill available and your data safe. However, we cannot promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, for example during maintenance or when your connection drops. We may improve, change or stop features. If we make a change that significantly affects you, we will tell you in advance where we can.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using EzBill and ask for your account to be deleted at any time; see Delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EzBill is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of EzBill. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the app. If you keep using EzBill after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
